“Look at every path closely and deliberately, then ask ourselves this crucial question: Does this path have a heart? If it does, then the path is good. If it doesn't, it is of no use.” ~Carlos Castaneda

Is it a societal failure or a system failure ...

“Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.”
~Benjamin Franklin

This was an interesting article. Do we live in a society with the World's Best Medical Care or are falling behind the rest of the world?

II
Eyes I dare not meet in dreams

In death's dream kingdom
These do not appear:

There, the eyes are

Sunlight on a broken column

There, is a tree swinging

And voices are

In the wind's singing

More distant and more solemn
Than a fading star.

Let me be no nearer
In death's dream kingdom

Let me also wear
Such deliberate disguises
Rat's coat, crowskin, crossed staves

In a field

Behaving as the wind behaves

No nearer --

Not that final meeting
In the twilight kingdom

~The Hollow Men by T.S. Elliot (1925)
